I have played in one of their weekly tournaments and was very impressed with this pool room. The tables play perfect and are spaced far enough apart that you are not bumping into the next guy over when you play. The owner / manager runs the most organized tournament I have seen anywhere short of the Derby itself. He has an overhead screen projector that shows the brackets, and he keeps them updated with each win. If you don't do well in the tournament with the small Diamonds, there are some big boy tables in the back area, and they play perfect as well. This location is ideal to draw the Huntsville players, the Birmingham players, and the Chattanooga, Memphis, and Nashville players. Lots of good players show up for the weekly tournament, so this one should be filled with talent. In short, I recommend this pool room. They will make you feel at home, and you will have a great time win or lose.
 
I play at this room regularly and I'm actually pictured in one of the photos that's posted. Awesome tables and the owner is a fantastic guy.

Plenty of lodging, shopping and food nearby.

I play here every week. Great place to play. The tables are in great playing condition.
 
Sign ups?

This tourney being the weekend before the Music City Open has there been any interest or sign ups from any of the bigger names and favorites that always play in the Music City Open? Archer, Nevel, Joey Gray, Justin Hall, Danny Smith, Hennessey, etc, etc. ? Just curious to see if some of those would be playing in both since they're so close together both time wise and geographically.

THIS event should draw ALL the top players who will be heading to Music City and on to Derby. Great venue. Non Smoking. Very professionally done!

Event

This is going to be the biggest tournament in Decatur since 2002 when the
Decatur Elks Lodge held the National & International Wheel Chair Pool Tournament. Please come out and make this a yearly event.
 
Will the 7 footers on the same side as the 9 footers be available play or are they being used for tournament play? Ill be there Saturday, but I can't make it in time for the tournament.

To ENTER the tournament you will need to be here Friday night by 10pm.

The tournament will begin on all 7fts. As the field winds down tables will become available. Saturday night $500 MINI will be on the 9fts.
