Picked this up from John at the DCC

Case is roughly 20 years old and will last another 20 easily. It used to zip about a third of the way down similar to a soft George and I had John convert it to a butterfly case. He added an all new lining and inserts and reinforced the bottom and also added the logo.

I just might have to get John to upgrade one of mine...like that...

It's my understanding that these were only made in Germany for a couple or few years...and only so many made it to the USA...

And, they were all made with top notch leather...I've got 3 that are still mint in the bag...and one that's used and signed by Bata...

It's hard to beat a great case like that one...!!!
