O'Sullivan has just won the Welsh Open, making a record 12th maximum in the frame he needed to win. He played the final black left handed because he could.

It is well worth watching.

Correct me if I'm wrong...but I recall seeing him shoot a whole maximum left handed once...the guy is so good it's sick.

post deleted...I found a left handed century, but found several right handed shots nonetheless, so the YouTube poster was a little off...

Regarding this 12th maximum, just read a recent interview with Hendry where he said:

"The last red that Ronnie got, left-handed into the green pocket and screwing back almost the length of the table to be perfect on the black, is the best shot I have ever seen."

Quite a compliment.
 
I don't want to open the can of BS again but anyone who thinks Ronnie O' couldn't be a pool champ isn't looking at this objectively. He's just that good.

If Ronnie quit snooker and focused full time on rotation, I'd still bet on Shane and Dennis for the next decade. He's the most talented snooker player ever, Hendry still has more wins, but Ronnie in top form is the best IMO. The only other player even close to most entertaining is HIggins.

Still, pool is a different game.

The video of him switching hands every couple shots while rocking the shaved head is one of the coolest billiard videos ever.

When Ronnie hits the loco zone as he did this morning, nobody can stop him. I was pulling for Joe Perry all the way but the mountain he was climbing just got too steep near the top. I swear Ronnie has a pact with the devil. :wink:
 
Ronnie is so good, he could have a career at baseball if he wanted. I also heard his poo does not smell and when he burps, fairies cry with joy.

He's already been shortlisted as the next leader of the Liberal Democrats too.
 
Just watched the 113 break in the last frame on YouTube. Spectacular. The look on Perry's face when he realized he left the first red indicated he knew it was curtains.
