My Pay-it-Forward thread

A while back I was lucky enough to be selected as the winner of another member's Pay it Forward thread. I got an AZB patch and a 9/10 ball Magic Rack. A condition of the giveaway was that I had to make my own thread.

I said that I was going to give away the Magic Rack and a box of 2 new cubes of Blue Diamond chalk. Well, I'm a lying sonofa*****, because that box of chalk has 1 cube in it, and there's a pattern on top that indicates I (or somebody) used it for a few racks.

To make up for my lies, I gathered a collection of things to give away. I feel like, for the price, there's some good value here.

Items winner will receive:
13 new pieces of blue Masters chalk- 12 in Masters box, 1 as a placeholder in the Blue Diamond box
1 piece of Blue Diamond chalk, certified pre-owned

CSI/TAR edition magic rack set (8-ball and 9/10- ball)

Porper mushroom grazer... it has 1 confirmed kill on my Meucci ferrule from when I bought it in Vegas at the APA nationals. It's for careful people.

1 set of used Aramith Super Pro balls in a carrying case. I bought these from a member here something like a year ago as something better than bar balls, but then I realized how f'ing stupid I would look carrying them into any place that doesn't have good equipment. They've sat under my bar in my basement unused for too long! They have dings and scratches like they saw pool hall use or maybe on a table with nailed-in pockets... They're better than entry level and I'd still prefer them over cheap imports.

Reply in this thread with your name, where you play, and a picture of the cue you play with. 100 post minimum for the winner, Gold membership will override minimum post count. I will arbitrarily choose a winner on or around April 1.

You'll be expected to start a similar thread if you win. Good luck!

I wish I could enter, don't worry I'm not going to spam the forum for the required post count!

Very nice gesture, good luck to everyone!

The post count minimum is intended to ensure a contributing member wins, and not a random passerby who will not reciprocate.

I'll edit the original post, but state here as well- Gold members are not subject to the minimum post count. The Gold membership is a good indicator of forum support.

 Kudos for coming over the top with this giveaway!

Might as well enter myself. The more posts, the longer it's on page 1, and the more people will see!

These are the cues that I play with. It is a custom set I had made to commemorate my military service. The rings represent the Iraq Campaign Medal.

My name is Shannon Spronk and I play at Breakroom Billiards and Rapid City, SD.

Cool cue set, Shannon! I had a custom made after I left the Navy with my dress uniform as a wrap, warfare qual insignias inlaid in windows, and my rank, rate, and ship's seal engraved. I like cues that tell a story!

Like to see pictures of that. Still around?

I usually play with myself at home, but sometimes I go to the Billiard Palace in Anchorage.

The playing cue varies. I'll come back and add a picture if I can decide which one to add!
