Congratulation to Cheng Yu-Hsuan for bringing some stellar play to White Diamond Billiards and he couldnt have picked a better time to snap off the countries biggest bar table event with almost $90,000 up for grabs!! How bout Lil D, Daniel Mckenney???? Great run he and his road dog Sam Gilmer are having. Really good to see!

Man, that Southern Billiards in Starkville is producing some champions here. What a great pool happening this is for me personally! I like Southern Billiards and everything associated with it. :love:
 
I watched and paid for the PPV.

Bigtruck did a good job as usual, no surprises there.

While I was rooting for Skyler, he and Bergman really struggled with the break. At the end of the tournament, all of the players could and usually did run out.

John Morra, was by far the most effective breaker. It seemed he made at least 2-3 balls on each break. Because of his great break, I really thought that darn Canadian would take the tournament.

Lil D, I had never seen before, did well, but he made Strong Arm John seem like a speed demon. He wasn't impressive to watch, but he just kept getting out and getting out. So apparently, I was just too dumb to be impressed.

I hope this trend continues with good payouts. I also hope it spreads all over.

I want to hear more about the Taiwan player who "robbed" the tournament! :thumbup:

In other words, who is he? Did he just arrive in America? Does he live in America?

1st place 2 weeks ago at the Expo! 1st Place in Houston last week! 2nd at White Diamonds!!

He playing better then people think!

He has been over here before, in July, for the BCA - CSI - US Open events.

Super nice guy and obviously a great player.

Cheng Yu-Hsuan gave Josh Roberts the 8 ball in 10 ball and won and he beat Warren Kiamco even in houston last week for big money the kid is a great player one of the top asian players SVB said they play even but i think Shane has the best of it because he breaks better but it would be a great match to sweat Cheng said he would like to play Shane Cheng won White Diamonds with a field of killers what does that tell you i think it would take SVB to beat the kid

Lil D came up in my hometown. His game has really improved since last I saw him. Someone commented that his style of play is pretty slow and methodical, I have to agree. When you watch D play, he takes his time, never loses his composure, just gets out !! This kid get's out from everywhere and just when you think it can't continue rack after rack, he's in the finals.
