Help identifying a jump break cue

I just received a jump break cue that has no name or logo on it. If someone could tell me if they know which cuemaker built this cue it would be very helpful. I was told it was a prototype of the early Sledgehammer, but the person who told me this is not very reliable. Everything below the joint is linen wrapped. Thanks for you help. Tom

It looks like a 3/8-10 acme pin from the pics.

That could narrow it down some what.

Maybe Mike Gulyassy, but that's just a guess. I know he built a lot of jump breaks and used the acme pin.

I've seen a lot of pics on here of pins. That pin was never attached to a cue the time I've seen it on AZB. I have seen once in person. It was in a Dave Kikel cue.

Knowing that it might be a custom helps, I am thinking of putting a new wrap ($100) on it and didn't want to unless it was a custom or something more valuable then a cheap b/j cue. Thanks for all your help, I will try to pm Mike Gulayassi to see if is one of his. Tom

I would leave it as is. It looks like a nice linen wrap. If you like how it hits and feels, then no need to dump extra money into it.

The threads look just like an early Gullyassy that I have.....kind of a flattened out 3/10 pin that Mike had made.
