What cues are these??? (Swirled, Barbershop pole design)

I havnt seen them before but it seems like they are getting popular amoung the pro ranks.

They have a barbershop styled swirl wrapping up the butt of the cue. Here are 2 links to PICs at the IPT site from Day3 of the tourney. Basketball star John Salley is shooting with one here (pink and white one, and Shawn Putnam seems to be pulling a black and white one out of his case. I also saw Corey Deuel breaking with one in the KOH broadcasts.

I'm pretty sure that cue is whats commonly known as "the ugly stick".


Quite a few people have been beaten with one. :D

Unfortunately, no. I just remember her name from the KOH interviews she was doing.

It is a given that Rebecaa Grant is pretty hot. But I cant buy her and put her in my pool case, nor do I care who made her.

Just curious about the cue. That is some nice tile though PROG8R :D

Here, now I can concentrate.

Strange looking cues for sure. I think it reminds me of those really bright colored Mcdermotts. I think it would definitely get you some attention in the pool hall..
Anyone know if Putnam has his own web site?

I remember hearing about them on that first episode of "beyond the break". I'll go through it again to see if i can pick up a maker.

They are made by Jacoby and commisioned by Aaron Czetli - our own Al Fah Amir. You can get them through him. This was his hustling cue - funniest thing you ever saw - I think the original one was a Scruggs that Aaron had wrapped in white and pink tape. Guaranteed ACTION draw.

He mentioned awhile back that he wanted his next cue to have the barbershop swirl made up of baby ducks... or some farm animal, I dunno. It's still hard for me to tell when he's kidding, but I won't be surprised if he wasn't.

i beleive they are a new break cue or a bunch of different break cues so the each pro can try it and give it their own evaluation and at the same time not knowing what brand it is.. that way they dont give a biased opinion.. and at the same time.. it could be something totally different.. but i think thats what it was.. sounds good though..
