Folks:

This looks like it's been out there since Darren's wedding day, and is a gift to us from the kind folks at InsidePoolMag! This is Darren's 200-and-out against Francisco Bustamante in the 2013 World 14.1 Tournament:

Enjoy!

P.S.: as described in the comments in the video, please consider buying the DVD or any of the other DVDs of this tournament. This is such a nice gesture from the InsidePoolMag folks, and deserves some reciprocating business.

I was there at the event on the sidelines with the rest of the crew for this amazing historical run.

Can't wait to watch it again !!!

Thanks to Inside Pool, and to you Sean for posting the link !!!

Yes, to have this world record run on video is fortunate indeed. Thanks, Inside Pool.

I was there too, at the round tables to the left of Darren as he was making the open break - it was a beautiful run. I liked how Darren smiled when Bustamante smacked the balls around after 205 or so. Neither wanted it to keep going, with the finals happening a few minutes away. :)

Finally got a chance to watch this yesterday! What an entertaining and clean run. I only remember 1 or 2 combos and no banks that I can recall. It's entertaining because Darren gets awkward a couple of times and does some great shooting and maneuvering to get out of it and continue the run. Also, he shoots a couple of non-standard break shots which always fascinate me. If you haven't watched this yet I highly recommend it.

I love the Andy's cloth used in these tournaments. Just the right speed to allow you to put some english on the ball without it going 2x the distance you intended. Fast enough to spread the balls on breaks, slow enough to impose control on the cue. Love it.
