I am no expert but I feel strange about him choosing solid on this one:
He had to shoot over a ball to start, the clusters in the upper left can be problematicand there are fewer pockets to shoot the 8...
On the other hand, the only bad thing I can see for the stripes is the 10 and it's really not that bad.
Maybe this was not a break and run in which Ralf pocketed the 12 earlier?
