Recovery Jones has been declared the winner($120 USA) of the inaugural AZ Billiards IPT money pool. In this contest seven AZ Billiards posters each selected ANY 25 players they wanted from a list of 200 players entered in the Las Vegas IPT tournament. The total prize money that their 25 players accumulated was added and the contestant with the most prize money (at the tournaments conclusion) was declared the winner. Each contestant committed to the $20 USA entry fee that they will mail (cash or money order) or send by pay pal to the winner at the best convenience of the winner/entrant.

I’ll be running another similar IPT money pool for the upcoming IPT tournament in Reno Nevada commencing September 2nd. If any new contestants(AZ Billiards reguliars only) are interested in entering (and joining an already growing list) please feel free to PM me and I’ll add your name to the list. For more info on how we ran the first pool, rules, team selections, etc, please refer to the thread labeled “IPT Player Betting Pool” at this link:

If anyone (wishing to join) has any questions not answered by the above link, please feel free to PM me and ask.

Closing remarks:

This pool was a lot of fun and spawned some good conversation and camaraderie amongst AZ members. Please feel free to join the next one.

Turning point:
This pool was virtually a neck and neck tie between RJ and Roy S.Roy need Peach to beat Orcollo by 8-4 or more to eliminate him.At one point Peach was actually leading(I was $hitting myself..LOL) 6-4, before Orcollo railed to only lose by a 8-6 count and survive by a mere .40 of a percentage point. If Peach moves on and Orcollo is eliminated, Roy would have won the pool.

Thanks to all who participated.

Pay And What Method Is Used.

I think you should be asking the IRS or the IPT. ABZ is clearly the wrong acronymed-forum to be asking.

I believe 30% is taken out up front for 'foreigners' while US citizens need to claim their own taxes.
