I have a brand new Dufferin Hi run conversion (Gancolo alves?) I just completed. The cue was purchased as a one piece and I added a joint as well as a 2 1/2 inch maple extension. Cue can be used with or without extension. Straight together and apart.
I used a 3/8-10 aluminum pin on the butt and also the extension to keep the weight down. The cue is marked 18 0z. and comes in at 18.2 oz. with the extension.
I added a smooth black leather wrap as well as upgraded the bumper to a Schon style.
The ferrule and tip were upgraded to a Mason micarta ferrule and a untraskin Med.
