Wednesday night Snooker's in Providence has a 9-ball tournament that is usually streamed for free.

I happened to watch this past Wednesday and witnessed (along with a room full of spectators) probably one of the most difficult position shots I have ever seen.

What happened was he got just a little bit out of line and executed the shot as shown in the pool table image attached.

The cue ball has the little c in the middle. He told his opponent exactly what he was going to do and upon completion the room went crazy.

A simply amazing shot.

Well done Mike!

I see no "c" in the cue ball, and I dont know what shot your are trying to describe...did he pocket a ball, did he play safety, hell did walk to the bathroom?

I am not a Facebook user and I can't make heads or tails of this diagram. Will have to take your word that it was a great shot.

He pockets the object ball in the bottom side pocket, the slightly orange/brown circle is the cue ball. After he pockets it, the cue ball goes around the object ball in the center of the table, and avoids a scratch in the bottom right hand pocket.

So it's a masse around an obstruction to get shape. Thanks.

Great!

I'm also not on Facebook, but luckily the video shows up, if you click the link!

The shot is awesome! And I like his reaction the most - cause it shows, that this one is also special for him - this shot doesn't need to work out that way, but it turned out very likely.

Thanks for sharing!

Corey Deuel has been shooting that shot since before the Dead Sea was even sick.

And I can do it in my sleep...when I am dreaming!

For those that can't see FAcebook, the red circle is the cueball. Mike jacks up and fires the object ball straight into the lower side pocket at a slight back cut that would send the cueball up table . The cueball jumps and circles around the other ball in the path shown.

The ball at the bottom right is where the cueball ended up (it almost scratched) with position on the next ball in the upper right.

There aren't a lot of players who can do that. Mike has a helluva stroke for sure. That was a great shot.

Thanks for the link! Great shot!
C. Hustle..."did he go to the bathroom?" LMAO!
