This was a fun project. I have been good friends with Brian Parks for many years. As I was advancing in cue making Brian had mentioned that he wanted me to build him a cue, and that he would retire the Prewitt cue he had been using. Then unfortunately his Prewitt cue had been stolen and I got a text message saying "looks like I need a cue." This unfortunate incident jump started the project. Brian and I had been back and forth through many text and phone conversations about design, weight, and balance.
This cue has 5A Birds Eye Maple forearm with four Ebony points with white, silver, blue, and black veneer. Ivory joint with leather wrap, and full matching joint cap set with silver dots on top of shaft caps. There is a stem bumper with a hole that allows access for the matching extension without having to pull off the bumper. This cue is loaded with silver inlays. Many notched diamonds and dots as well as silver ovals that make this cue pop.
I also want to thank the good folks at OB Cues (Doc, Shane, and Royce) for supplying me the shafts for this cue. Brian Parks is a sponsored player rep for OB. He is an amazing player and good friend.
