I spoke with him not to long ago and he was saying that he was working out a sponsorship with meucci. He not with lucasi anymore that's for sure.

The cue Jayson is using is a Meucci cue. Wrapless tons of inlays. The shaft is a "The Pro" ld shaft made by Meucci. A beauty of a cue. The cue is just a replacement until he gets his cue made for him by Bob himself. ( quoted)
The Lucasi in the pic is his old cue. Actually his personal one has his full name engraved in the wrap area.

You heard it from ME first, folks! Everybody keeps asking "what is the best shaft?" and everyone gets a million different replies back with NO obvious winner.
I have been praising this shaft on here for ages and I guess the name Meucci scares people off. This shaft hits real good and I've told people that they shouldn't rule out Meucci when it comes to GOOD PLAYING CUES.

Bob might sell a few more cues if he would offer a few wrapless cues at the lower end , same for McDermott.
Technically all of his cues are wrapless because he puts a clear coat over the wrap, or did. I have no idea how the new Meuccis look like.
That cue is pretty sweet how's it play :thumbup:
I have a Meucci 95-7 that was purchased new in 1993. It's the cue I learned to play with and it plays really well. It's also really well constructed. The wrap hasn't cracked, the rings haven't popped, and the pin and shaft insert haven't shifted. It's one of the good ones. If Bob can make em like this again (and it sounds like he intends to) he's gonna sell some cues.
Downside is he already flooded his market with sub par cues. He should do a trade in program and recycle the old cues.
It is good to see Meucci sponsoring a pro player again. Hopefully this leads to some more pro events. Who knows, maybe McDermott will jump in the game some too.

I don't think that is the shaft he is using. Same cue, but different Meucci shaft. I think he is using the "Pro" with the 1/2" ferrule from what I can see in the video of him playing Mika with that cue.
Yeah- my Dad switched over to the Pro shaft.
I love all you Meucci haters... seems that any ole stick can win in the hands of the right person.
I've read "I'd drive over 100 Meucci cues to get x"... haha should drive somewhere to get a pool game or some talent IMO.
