Maybe early Prewitt, Horn, Peterson.??? Whatever it is I can tell by the shafts pilots that the maker knew what they were doing... If the pilots are any indication as to the way the rest of the cue is built, I'm sure it's pretty sound... VERY NICE CUE!
Points are nice, sharp and even. Style of ringwork is similar to a bunch of Scruggs cues
I've seen. It's a little bit more fine with the stitches and thickness of the silver rings. I'd
love to know who made this too.
boy those pilots sure look familiar... Short sleeve, reversed color veneered windows, low rounded pilots, deep recessed bumper, .... send the pics to Pete Tascarella. See what he says...
" perhaps"
Maybe replacement shafts ...
" I don't recall ever seeing that type of shaft pilot on Tim's cues"
Typically, a small brass insert out of the shaft is all"
I was watching this from the beginning too and am glad somebody asked about it as it really piqued my curiosity, and I'm even more curious now considering what it sold for. Being that it was a mystery cue I wasn't thinking it would go for more than 500 but that tells me the people bidding had a pretty good idea of what it actually is.
