Just figured I would post some pictures as I get them updating the cue build progression. I wanted an ebony on ebony with flame veneers, here is what Ken has got in progress right now. Love the colors on this. :)

LOVE QB Cues.

The first time I saw one was at the Derby last year. Joe Salazar had an AWESOME one I was pining over for weeks after.

I wonder if he still has it somehow. The work was fantastic too. Way cleaner than a lot of guys with bigger names.

IMHO.
 
QB makes great cues and this is my fav colors on ebony can't wait to see it done :thumbup:

The veneer work looks really nice. The double stepped straight cut on the forearm is something Burton Spain used to do. It allowed him to hold the forearm in his chuck to attach it to a handle without any additional support needed. I have not seen anyone do that in many years.

I would have been going but it was too close to our due date so not happening for me. We just had this little fella a little over 24 hours ago. :thumbup:

I do love me some flame veneers, looks like it's gonna be a beaut. Congrats on the cue and baby!

Congrats on the birth of your son.

How long before you put a cue in his hands?
Maybe you can hand this beast down to him
in the future.
 
Thanks guys. I have a 13 year old son, we have played a couple of times for fun but I really have been trying to keep him away from the game having him play football. This is the first child with my lady now and she likes and plays pool too so its likely this little guy might end up playing in the future. :)
