I think I posted pictures of this cue here and there but nothing was detailed so here it is.

Was bored in the hotel this morning and decided to see how good the iPhone camera is and I'm pleasantly surprise. And now I'm bored in the plane with 8 more hours to go before I arrive in CA and with wifi service onboard I decided to share these pictures.

Despite the JPs indicating 2015, this cue was done in 2014 October. Zen just didn't make any JPs for this cue then.

All the silver inlays are glistening and those in the know will appreciate how good looking those arced silver points are. The white in the inlays are not Ivory but Camel Bone. Zen has a reason for using camel bone instead of Ivory as he said there's a Chinese story behind the design of the inlays and there was some connection to Camels...I gotta ask him for that story.

Am nominating this cue for COTY so am gonna post more pictures on this thread.

Thanks for the pics

I had the chance to play this cue, when Jive and me met in Frankfurt.

This cue has a billion inlays! It's full of details that take some time to observe. The points are curved, which is a very nice and complicated detail.
The finish is flawless!

Glad, you've taken some pics, I've just sent them to my ebony loving friend...

It was great meeting up with you Chris, thanks for bringing me around and training me to live up to my name as a professional racker. Next time we'll have to play US Open rules, winner racks his own :)

Keep well my friend, I'll be back real soon. And yes the next time I'll bring the Hulsey that you like.

Stunning cue, Jive!

Hope you had a safe flight and that you get a chance to hit up Hard Times this trip... If you're in Southern CA again, that is.

Are my eye's playing tricks on me or are the single silver rings above and below the interwoven silver, inlaid with a seam? If so is it like that throughout the cue at all ring positions?... Interesting...

Yup, I took pictures from that side deliberately to show the seams of the ring. You're sharp! :)

Those rings are not stacked on but inlaid and it's the same throughout the entire cue.
