The famous Marshall Carpenter, the Tuscaloosa Squirrel, 87 years old and still going strong, made an unexpected appearance at this year's One-Pocket Hall of Fame Dinner. I had the pleasure of sitting across the dinner table and listening to some great stories from the past. I never saw Squirrel play, but many old-timers swear he took down the cheese most of the time.
This guy was the most feared one-pocket money player until he moved on to hustling golf in 1965.
