So here's a cue I took in on a trade. It was a complete crap shoot, but I was willing to roll the dice. It looks to be a conversion made a long time ago. The previous owner got it in Las Vegas 20+ years ago and said it was aged when he bought it. He has the inkling that it is a Kersenbrock, but I wouldn't hang my hat on it. The most interesting feature of this cue to me, is the pin. This might be what identifies it, its a 3/8x10 (i measured it, could be 3/8x11) made of brass with a hole drilled in it. I have three shafts for it. Two of the shafts have long, almost meucci like tapers on them. The third shaft has a more conical type taper. Take a look and tell me what you think. Thanks.

My '74 Kersenbrock looks like the same pin (3/8-11) and the same rubber bumper
Your shafts should be 29 1/4" and the butt should be 28 3/4"

Nice cue, it could be a Kersenbrock

Could you please post a picture of your cue? I'm interested in seeing the pin and bumper. Preferably, with the bumper removed. Thank you..

Aloha.

I used to have a Benson. The tip of the Benson's pin was SS and more pointed if I remember correctly.

Is this a conversion made from a known-brand house cue or is this a full-splice blank made by the person who made the cue?

It doesn't look like one of the common house cues that I have seen. The points look a bit longer to me.

Aloha.
