Great hitting Pre-dated Southwest cue for sale !! Player's cue in excellent condition !!

This cue used to be owned by a Taiwanese pro player Mr. Lee, who ordered this cue directly from Jerry long while ago and used it as his play cue during his stay in Las vegas. This cue has just been beautifully and professionally refinished in brand new condition couple days ago and never hit a ball right after that:) , now this beauty is sitting in my cuecase. During the refinish I was there to examine the whole process and there's no mistreatment on this cue from my observation;) .

Cue weights around 19.5 oz, six points Gabon ebony into Bem with 2 veneers (maple and balck), ringworks at 5 positions. One original and the other is claimed to be from SW, both shafts has 12.5-12.7 MM diameter. One more thing I want to stress is that the straightness of the butt is perfect which is rarely seen on SW cue especially for the cue at such age, this is definitely one of the most straightest SW cue I've ever seen:D , both shafts have some slight wobble alone however when put together with the butt, the cue rolls dead straight on pool table, not even a slight wobble can be detected by bare eyes. Prior to refinish, I played the cue for a rack and here is my afterthought: this cue is not for collection purpose, this is a true player's cue:eek: .
Enjoy the pix, asking for $2450 plus shipping, price is negotiable and will entertain any reasonable offer. Presently we consider cash only, I am reachable via PM or email at mauhua.tang@gmail.com, will give full refund if one can prove the cue is not authentic !! thanks again for looking;) .

thanks Martin, this is a real beauty, and previously it belongs to only one owner who is a professional player, this make the cue so different from others:D

Btw, am interested in EP cue, will talk to you soon;) .

Very nice piece, Matty. These Franklin predates are the best hitting cues on the planet. Love the Gabon points and the birdseye is beautifully figured. Very clean. Kind Rgds, Brett

Hi Matty;

Who did the refinish and what did they do?

Mike

cue was refinished by a top-notched Taiwanese cuerepairer who occasionally build cues for players, I witness almost every step, the refinish work is just perfect, while we left the shaft in original condition and decided not to clean it up considering that the approach may damage the essence of the wood:) .
