#4 in the last picture is a ripoff of my design that joe gold uses in his cues (cognoscenti). i do the work and someone else makes the money. i hate that. i'll be nice though and only charge 15% of the gross profit from the sale of these cues. i'm sure i'll be waiting a long time for that check to come in the mail.

Not Ripoff, Tribute

Yep, but it is missing the White Russian Diamond inlays and the asking price is not $12,500 like the one he made for Jennifer Chen. I heard at one time the unplayed one of the pair he made her was going for $35,000.

I Do not know where the design for the #5 cue in the picture came from. However I have see it produced with a Lucasi logo. I have heard they retailed it for $300. :o

If I come out of retirement I'll give your job offer some thought. :)

So what if the cues and case don't sell? Do you refund the money? Or are you stuck with the stuff?

It won' happen if you know how to sell

Let's put it this way I personsally have been selling the Palmer cues for 9 years. They do not loan them to me I buy them and resell them. I have yet to have one that I could not sell. This is not a job offer. This is an offer to suply you with a product that I know has the ability to put spare cash in your pocket. You will be self employed. You are the ones that will need to have the market and the initiative to get it done. No they are not returnable if they do not sell. But if you don't think you can sell them, then Please don't buy them. It will not be the fault of the product.:)

Yes they are returnable if upon delivery you are not happy with the product. In other words I guarantee your satisfaction with the product. I of course can not guarantee your ability to sell it.

Do the work of protecting your copyright properly, and you won't have that problem anymore.

it's not as easy as it sounds trust me. my brother is a corprate lawer and he explained the tough road just to collect from others copying. but there is something i can do and i'm in the processes now. those who copy my work will pony up soon enough.

Oh, I thought that is the one you were speaking of. I was aware that #4 was similar to the design of Chen's cue. I am wondering if you have a picture of the cue you were refering to. I would be interested in seeing just how close the designs are. I hope you relize that I do not make these cues. I just sell them. So Joe Gold does not design his own cues? Do you do them all? Nice work.:)

many of the cues made by joe are my thoughts, spire, shesiedo, double vision (chens cue), triger (on the cover of blue book 2), tribal, trident, and a few more. joe does design also but where i think he has reached master status is in his unique use of silver. he does this better than anyone and because of our friendship, and of course my conscience, i wont use silver in the same way for my recent work. as far as the other cue it's posted in this thread (chen's double vision cue) and the #4 (shesiedo) cue is not similar to me at all. thanks also for the nice words on my work.:)

Forearm Pics

Here are some pics of the forearm of the #4 cue we are speaking of and also the other three. I welcome comments from all as to where you feel the design influence may have originated on the other cues.
To be perfectly clear these 4 cues are overlay transfer designs not inlay, only the trim rings are inlay. They are very nicely finished and the shafts are premium quality.
If Anyone is interested in buying the 4 cue set at $240 delivered USA. Please PM me

Good break cue!

I really think I should start calling these break cues. A week ago the bartender at my local pub mention that she wished she had her own cue. I ask her what her favorite color is. She said red. I said no problem, I can make it happen. I showed her the cue pictured. She like it and told me to bring it next Monday. That was tonight. I show up with the cue. she meet me at the door, asked if I brought it. I told her yes, but I had to shape the tip and see how it cracked the rack. First ball the cue ever hit 8 on the break in the side! Sold done deal :D :D   and a free drink. About 10 months ago different bartender same thing, purple cue, first ball hit, 8 on the break. It's fun selling cues, Anybody want to try it??

Just want to bump this thread up. The holiday season is here. This is the time to move these cues. Please check the pics and PM me if interested.:)

FYI, I picked up 4 of these from Jeff. They arrived in no time. They're straight, reasonably well made (very well made considering the price), and hit fine -- comparable to a Lucasi IMHO.

My favorite starter cue is a Dufferin sneaky pete, because I think they hit great. But a lot of beginners don't want a sneaky pete, they want something with a wrap and points. For those people, I think Jeff's (modern day) Palmers are a great deal, probably about as good as you can get for the price.
