The raffle is finally over. A very special thank you to everyone that supported this by donating items and to everyone that bought tickets to support it.

Donovan, jam up job putting together and maintaining the website along with soliciting donations of items. Craig (cueandcushion) for offering free t-shirts to the first ten people to buy tickets and all your donations. BANKONIT for your support in getting tickets sold and shuttling me to the Joss tour for the draw. Eydie for walking me around Valley Forge introducing me to everyone and sending me home with an arm load of donations! The number of donations we got far exceeded what I expected and Eydie played a huge part in that. Thank you Eydie and everyone.

We ended up with 40 people buying tickets for a total of $980

WPBA touring pro and AZ member Liz Ford drew some of the tickets until she had to go play in a match and then Charyn (Mike Davis' g/f) who lurks here but never posts drew the rest of the names.

There were quite a few folks who bought more than 20 tickets and they along with some others won multiple items. We had a surge in ticket buyers the last couple of weeks so not everyone won something. Out of the 40 people that bought tickets, there were 12 that didn't get their tickets drawn. AZ members present during the draw were BANKONIT and SUPERSTAR.

I was one of the folks whose ticket didn't get drawn. To give the others recognition for supporting the raffle and to help save them the time of going through the list I'm going to go ahead and list the others. A big thanks to all of you for supporting this. Ballou, Rich Nace, Russ Koontz, Kevin Lindstrom, Brandon Shuff, Chris Lockhart, td873, ccn7, ramw5p, Fred Agnir and RagBug74.

Here's a list of the items, the winner, and the winning ticket number. Tomorrow I'll give more details as to how some of you can get the items that I do not have in my possession.

I chuckled when Barbara's name was drawn for the nuts (that's my kind of luck).... She made up for it by winning the gold 9 ball pendant that A LOT of people were hoping they would win. ;)

Thanks Timberly, With all the things I have going on I never got off my butt and sent any money for the raffle tickets but did want to thank you for all your time and effort in making this happen. I was able to take part in the room last year and it was a great place to go and sit for a few minutes or play a few games with some AZer's our the pros that stopped by from time to time.
As anyone started taking donations for the room besides the raffle?

Thanks again Timberly and I almost forgot to thank all the people that donated the prizes.

I cannot draw my own nuts, okay? Someone come up with a solution to this. Timberly, draw another ticket for the other bag of nuts or something. I trust you. I can't believe this happened.

How about we take the names of the folks that didn't get their name drawn (minus mine because I have some in the freezer)?

Does everyone think that's fair enough?

There were two times that I wanted to change something (when Barbara won her own donation and Breakup won two books) but I left it alone because that was the draw.

(psst RJ, Breakup bought a truckload of tickets. ;) )

In going through the list of names that didn't win any items, I found that I missed one. Fred Agnir, who also donated items for the raffle. I've since re-edited the original post. I hope Fred hasn't seen this thread yet. :o Fred's name is getting mixed in with the rest for a chance to win a bag of Barbara's nuts.

Timberly -- I won a year subscription to Inside Pool Mag in the raffle. However I already have a subscription and just recently renewed it, and have another year on the way. So, it's ok with me if you want to draw another ticket and give this prize to someone else. I'm just glad to support the cause!

Since I have a seperate bank account set up for the DCC room it makes sense that I'll take them. Besides, Williebetmore did this last yr during the holidays when he should've been enjoying his family... it's someone else's turn (mine) to handle that this yr. ;)

We're not quite ready to start doing that yet. We still have the banner to sell and then we'll know exactly what we'll need to cover room costs. I'll let ya'll know when we're ready to start taking the contributions and how much will be needed.

FYI, room contributions will only be accepted prior to the DCC and by whatever date we end up specifying. Last yr Williebetmore agreed to let people pay at the venue.... not going to happen this yr. With Christmas and then getting ready for the 9 day trip... all monies will be collected at some point before Christmas. We'll keep you guys posted. :)
