This has to be one of the best custom cue values of its type...its essentially a one shaft full-splice custom cue. This group of conversions now arriving are among the nicest "petes" to come out of the Ariel Carmeli shop. 58", vintage Brunswick Tru-Balance conversion, 18.5oz., 13mm premium white maple shaft (4.05oz) with Ivor-X ferrule, dashed deco rings, figured birdseye rear, walnut brown wrap with white specs, high gloss finish. $350.00 plus $12 ship/insure in continental USA. Thanks. As you probably know putting the automotive finish on a "pete" is very labor intensive. Ariel works his arse off!

I might be in the minority, but what makes the Tru balance part of it special? Not trying to antagonize, trying to learn and help you sell the cue.

Tru-Balance is a 50 to 70 year old original Brunswick house cue that was well made in a variety of quality hardwoods. They sell for upwards of $50 each as a house cue with good decal (see www.billiardcue.com). No putty at prongs like in many import house cues. Bottom of prong comes more to a point and is not squared off. The first two cues of this group that sold quickly were made of figured purpleheart and Brazilian Rosewood (go see what you'll pay for a nice butt sized piece of Brazillian Rosewood!). This group of cues have custom cue touches including automotive high gloss finish and other quality components. I hope that helps you gain a better understanding of these Brunswick Tru-Balance conversion cues. Feel free to PM me if I can be of further help.

Hi Martin;

Do the AC cues have weight bolts, such that they can be changed or adjusted?

Some do and some don't. Most of the cues I have for sale do because I am particular about how a cues balances that I offer for sale. I believe this cue does have a weight bolt or set screw. I can offer the cue with approval upon arrival. These Tru-Balance conversion cues are a big bargain. They are like a one shaft full custom cue for cheap. Way too much labor in them relative to what they sell for. Vintage Brunswick Tru-Balance house cues aint cheap either.
