Here are some stats from the final day of play at the West Coast Challenge 10-Ball event played at California Billiards in Fremont, CA. Free streaming was provided by povpool.com. This was a 45-player, double-elimination event won by Dennis Orcollo, and he appeared in all of the final day's matches on the main streaming table.

Conditions -- The conditions for this event included:
- Brunswick Gold Crown 9-foot table with approximately 4¼" corner pockets;​
- Turtle racking template;​
- Rack your own, with the 1-ball on the foot spot and the 2- and 3-balls on the back corners;​
- Winner breaks from anywhere behind the head string;​
- jump cues allowed;​
- cue-ball fouls only; and​
- call shots, but no pass-back option on misses.​

The four streamed matches were Dennis Orcollo defeating Thorsten Hohmann (5th/6th place) 9-3, Ernesto Dominguez (4th place) 9-6, Jason Williams (3rd place) 9-8, and Alex Pagulayan (2nd place) 11-7 and 9-8 (true double-elimination finals).

Here's a comparison of aggregate results for the 4 matches (5 sets) for Orcollo versus his opponents.

Successful breaks (made at least one ball and did not foul):
Orcollo -- 33 of 45 (73%)
Opponents -- 25 of 34 (74%)
Total -- 58 of 79 (73%)​

Breaker won the game:
Orcollo -- 28 of 45 (62%)
Opponents -- 15 of 34 (44%)
Total -- 43 of 79 (54%)​

Break-and-run games, on all breaks:
Orcollo -- 15 of 45 (33%)
Opponents -- 6 of 34 (18%)
Total -- 21 of 79 (27%)​

Break-and-run games, on successful breaks:
Orcollo -- 15 of 33 (45%)
Opponents -- 6 of 25 (24%)
Total -- 21 of 58 (36%)​
[Note: 7 of Orcollo's 15 B&R games were in his first set against Pagulayan, on 11 breaks (64%).]​

Average number of balls on the break:
Orcollo -- 1.3 on all breaks, 1.6 on successful breaks
Opponents -- 1.1 on all breaks, 1.3 on successful breaks
Total -- 1.2 on all breaks, 1.5 on successful breaks​

Can't believe Williams made that nice comeback and then dogged the 10. He was down on that shot for what seemed like an eternity, at that point I just felt like he was gonna miss it. Some great matches and shots yesterday though.

Yup. Orcollo was also quite fortunate when Alex missed a pretty easy 6-ball (but with kind of difficult position) on the hill at 8-7 in their second set . That was Alex' last shot. That second-set saw the lead change 6 times.

Thats what happens when you force it in the side after bad position...hell of a match though
