I was wondering what it would cost to get a custom cue made similar to this: http://www.onthehill.net/jacstck4.htm (number 7, the first on the page)
"Tiger Stripe Maple forearm with 4 Ebony points with 4 veneers (Red, Purple, Red, Black in to out). Each point contains Malachite rectangle inlays bordered in Micarta & 2 smaller Micarta square inlays. Ebony butt section with 4 large Malachite rectangles triple bordered in Micarta, Cocobolo, & Micarta & 4 smaller Malachite rectangles bordered in Micarta. Cocobolo & Micarta ringwork at A, B, C, D, & E. Cocobolo flat faced joint with a 3/8 x 10" pin."

With a black leather wrap, either bocote or mexican cocobolo instead of the tiger stripe maple, and 18.5 ounces.

Also how long would/should it take?

Expect to pay at least a grand if you want a similar cue made.

Try contacting Jacoby, as they can make this cue design in any woods config you like...providing it's available in their shop. They are very nice folks there, and certainly aim to please.
