Will someone please give me some tips on how to display a link in my thread to an auction on ebay without all of the technical data and let me just say something like "Southwest Cue" as the link title. I haven't been able to figure it out and I see a lot of posters on AZ doing it.

Type "southwest cue"
Highlight it
Click the insert link button "The Globe with a link picture"
Paste the url
 
KISS method

Hopefully you have 'copied' the URL location first.

Click on URL symbol. Paste into line. Make sure you do NOT have 2 http://
in the line. If so, delete 1 of them. Press enter or click OK.

Format is [QURL=xxxxxxxxx]xxxxxxxxx[/QURL] - The first xxxxxxxxx is the location it goes to, the second xxxxxxxxx is the name that appears within the post to click. Delete the 2nd xxxxxxxxx and put in the name you want to appear for people to click. Make sure all the brackets stay where they are originally.

example:
[QURL=http://www.example.com]http://www.example.com[/QURL]

to change to:
[QURL=http://www.example.com]My example[/QURL]

in the Post it would have 'My example' as the link name to click.

NOW TAKE ALL THE Q'S OUT OF THE COMMAND (CHANGE QURL TO URL)
I had to add them to be able to demonstrate the command without it taking effect.
