Here's another conversion project that I've just completed. This blank was made originally by Oliver Briggs around 1910 and it's a purple heart on purple heart butterfly. The butt has a 3/8-11 pin with a brown phenolic collar, weigh in at 17.42 oz., 30" long. The joint is .8320 and the butt diameter is about 1.34 but is 1.25 in the phenolic butt sleeve.
Shaft is weigh in at 3.5oz, 29.25" long with a 12.70mm tip. Cue roll flat with a very slight variance in the joint area. Shoot solid and strong with a clean resonance that you would expect from wood that have been cured for over 100 years. Asking SOLD shipped. Reduced to SOLD shipped!! Trade considered for cue cases as well.
