I was at the pool hall today and took a couple of photos of these two gems......
If I can locate a nice 3x5 custom case, these are the two cues I will carry.
Both play amazing, have exact same specs & look fabulous viewed in person.

I will try a camera phone next time. I shot this with a Canon 30D using a 28-300mm zoom lens.
The colors on these two cues viewed in person are really pretty & very distinctive.....IMO.

Thanks Matt > The colors are simply magnificent to me. Who built the these Jerry and Mr. Owen ? Who built the one with white / green spec Cortland ? The veneers are a stunning combination. Did you choose the designs and colors ?

Edit > I see the sigs now it was -R- on the one with what looks like 'violet' that pops. WOW and he is such a gentleman to speak with the one time we had conversation. I hear Bob is the same, a great guy.

-Kat,

Kat....it wasn't intentional that I used a Royal Purple veneer in both cues.....purely coincidental.

Jerry R. cue is a replica of a Azer's Scruggs cue I wasn't aware I could have acquired.
The only difference is the veneer colors I came up with that turned out pretty awesome.

The cue by Bob is my design I conjured up & knew it was going to be challenging.
I am not exaggerating when I write his cue turned out just absolutely gorgeous.

The cues turned out to be clones re: specs. Both 3/8x10 joints. same wt & shafts, etc.
I feel fortunate to have gotten these cues that are laden with ivory just in time.

p.s. TX ....Dom.

I've always loved the rings on the -R- ever since I saw them on a TS many moons ago! Great looking cues! You should definitely acquire the Scruggs if you still can.

2 awesome cues

" Both of Your cues were completed SUPERBLY "
" I really like the Bob Owen,
As I have always been a big fan of Bobs cues,
Everything carefully crafted ....
ALWAYS VERY STRONG PLAYING CUES TOO '
Enjoy

How's This For A Added Treat..........

I know Alton makes amazing protector set designs that dazzle and seem majestic.

When I came up with the design for the cue Bob made for me, I knew it was going
to be special and so I asked Bob if he would consider making me a set of matching
protectors or some variation that was befitting for the cue he was going to build.

He never shared with me what he came up with and Bob blew me away when I saw
the protector set he made for my cue........I couldn't be happier and I know down deep
he was muttering curses under his breath while he was completing the rings......Jeez,
he had to cut a lot of inlays for my cue and the protector set's rings ( 32 inlays per ring).

These designs turned out better than I hoped.
