I Have a Fancy Goncalo Alves sneaky up for sale or possible trade. I took this back in on trade as the customer preferred a cue with a leather wrap. The cue is used but in very good condition. I noticed 2 dings in butt one can be felt the other cannot, few small dings in clear of shaft by joint. Straight together and apart (smallest of taper rolls) tip doesn't even come close to moving when rolled. The back ring can be felt slightly, above butt cap. Cleaned up and feels new, plays excellent.
The cue is a very nice shimmery piece of Alves (looks like polished copper) B/E maple forearm. The inlays (white) are juma with turquoise with brass webbing instead of traditional black. The joint and all dot inlays are brass. Joint is 5/16-14 with a phenolic insert in shaft.
The cue has a medium stiff hit and moves the cue ball effortlessly. Pics are before I put a new SIB med tip on the cue.
