An issue with some tournament payouts is late or slow payments.

The WPA license agreement has clearly stated players can be penalized for various non-specific reasons.

Can organizers be penalized for slow and late payments?

Attached is an article for a city that is proposing a law to punish companies that pay late or slow.

The most recent issue is the Tornado Open, in which the prize payout mislead players.

The bill codifies a requirement that employers pay freelancers in full 30 days after services are completed (or an agreed upon date) and that freelance contracts of $800 or more to be committed to writing. It also prohibits employers from retaliating against freelancers who seek to enforce their rights.

The WPA can fine you for non-specific reasons?
Somehow I think you might be making some assumptions there. But go ahead and show me the conspiracy in writing if you must.

Penalizing promoters? lol

"Misleading Players" and slow payouts are two very different things.

Please pick one at a time.
Thank You.
