Thanks drv4! Quick question, I tried to do this last year, but was un successful . My understanding is you must download some app? Then watch through that app? At the time last year I was using a windows platform and it let me download the app, but when it came time to play / watch it, it kept telling me that it wasn't supported for my device? Anyway I've added an Android because I've ran into that more than once, so should I be good to go this year? TIA!

As long as you have a cable subscription service and are paying for ESPN you should be good to go. On a computer just go to espn3.com and you will have to log in through your cable provider, if on mobile you will need the watch ESPN app. Same thing you will log in through your cable provider (basically lets Espn know you are paying for their service). Now if you don't pay for Espn, you will have to either add it to your cable service or "borrow" a login and password from a buddy.

You can watch this on just about anything with internet access..... just remember, you may need your login info for your provider.

In my experience ESPN 3 has limited access for people without a cable subscription. Many events are available not live but as a replay. But the past couple of years I've been able to watch the Mosconi Cup live without a cable subscription.

OK thanks, yes I do have cable with ESPN but I have no idea whatsoever about a login password or anything like that.

Is your internet provider the same as cable tv provider? If it is, then it should recognize that when you pull up the ESPN3 page and not require a sign in.

If it isn't, like for me where I have Comcast as TV provider and AT&T as internet, you just need to log in on ESPN3's page when it routes you to a page for authorization the ID & password used for Comcast. This would be the primary account I go to on comcast.com for accessing my bill and info. So if you don't do any online management on your TV provider's website you should get that access set up ahead of time.

No, they are not the same. I don't have Comcast for cable but I use ATT for net. I've never been asked for an ID or password for anything OTHER than connecting WIFI, that's why I'm at a loss with this....?

Your id & password is most likely the same as Comcast email Addy info if you have one. Get the app now and try it out.

Don't forget that ESPN has a channel on Roku, so if you have a Roku, you can watch on the big screen.
Just get the ESPN channel from the Roku channel store.

WiFi pswd would have nothing to do with it. Who is your cable/satellite tv provider?

If you were go to there now to the ESPN3 page, and attempt to watch something, it should because you are on AT&T internet, then give you a pop up that you must select your television network provider that you pay for. You would select Comcast or whoever, than it will route you through an Adobe authorization system to then enter your Comcast (or whoever) Id and pswd to prove you are their customer (it can't recognize that you are a paying tv customer because all it knows at that point is that you are on AT&T internet). If you have never opened an online acct with your tv provider you won't be able to get authorized. I already have a Comcast account because I go onto to it to pay bills ,etc.

That's prob what it is, never opened online account with my cable ( Broad stripe BTW ). Got a little time, guess I'll get up with them and get the account opened or password or whatever. Thanks!

There might also be the possibility that your tv provider (Broadstripe) doesn't pay for its customers to get the free online add on channels like ESPN3. I'm not 100% sure how those arrangements work. So when you get the pop up to select your provider, Broadstripe might not even be a choice in the list for ESPN3. I had that happen to me one time for some channel like BeIn or something.
