Are you Angry?

I am.

I tend to want to react when I'm angry.

But usually only after quiet reflection, do I do anything.
But, sometimes I do react quickly.

This is me reacting.

I will sponsor one pro/semi-pro to train with Alex Lely when he comes back to the USA to give clinics this March.

Who will do the same?!

How about a junior?

Pro's, media, armchair warriors, "us" -the forum,
It's in our hands!!
Please oh Please, for the love of the game, let's not sit on our hands.

Help a player, help get us better, help us redeem ourselves in the eyes of our community and the world!

"We"- Us and our players, are terribly low now.
Won't "you" whoever "you" are, make a choice and help new players learn what "sport" pool can truly be!

You will never hear a more sincere plea for your action than you hear from me now-

It doesn't have to be Alex, it can be Dr. Dave, or Scott Lee

My preference for Alex at this juncture is because he knows 14.1, he's former European 2X 14.1 Champion, he's both coached and played in The Mosconi Cup.
He's worked junior boot camps all over Europe with Johan Ruijsink
And he's familiar with the play of every single European because he's contributed to their training.

If you do not know who Alex "The Plague from The Hague" Lely is-
get woke.

I just can't watch idle, please don't show me you can.
Do something, anything substantive, please, to help us grow into the sport we are truly meant to be.
This means training.
I wouldn't send anyone into the ring without training, they get beat bloody.

This is the time, NOW is THE time!

Alex is the man!! Only heard fantastic things about his boot camps, and I intend to attend the next one he does over here :)

I view a pool player that angers easily as a victim. If you can't control your emotions, I want to play you some.

Well this egg got no problem playin' ya-
However- it ain't about me right now.

Put your money to better use and be a part of something meaningful.
Knowledge is the best gift.
I know who ever you help will appreciate it.

I've always liked Alex Lely. Respected him as a player, Mosconi Cup Captain/Player, commentator and coach. Always wanted to meet him.

Please let me know in advance the dates that Alex will be in Chicago.

Thanks,
JoeyA

Alex has nerves of steel. I mean he's cool as a cucumber. Have to link one of most exciting matches I've ever witnessed in person. European Champs 2005 9-ball final Souquet vs Lely. It's bit slow, but the last 40min or so after Ralf misses his chance for 9-5 victory is very exciting. Especially the shot Alex pulls out of his bag in the final rack is crazy!

I've heard only praising reviews of Alex' coaching. Still want to attend one of his intensive courses.

The consequences of our folly!

This is the highest stage America has in terms of honor, viewership, monetary payoff and tour connectivity.
Viewed by over 800,000,000 all over the globe.

If we cannot perform or get better, it stops.

So how about you get on board and help sponsor a pro/semi pro, train some?
If you were listening and watching, you will now know that Matchroom is doing something about it-they've created a whole new event!

Welcome now, the Europe/Asia Cup!!

I think it's very appropriate that the VIP practice room prior to matches beginning was held in this room, where over the mantle, a relief of the Judgement of Solomon hangs.

I was there- Get Woke!

How Goes The New Year Training? "ACTION"

Happy New Year All!

I hope this year brings our hearts, minds and games into perfect alignment

It's not enough to watch or write or even talk.
Without "ACTION" nothing happens.
Do- even the smallest gesture, really, I promise you, there is no gesture too small to contribute to our growth in a positive way.

Pool deserves the biggest hug and the biggest kick in the teeth.

Right now, I'm soft on pool because, to me it's a New Year and I am hopeful that we will ALL do a little something something for the good to help our "pool child" grow.

Maybe you don't know how to help or where best your efforts can be directed

ASK

Example #1: Ask those powers that be, "How can I be of avail?"
You'll get to do something positive and directly speak to an industry head.
It's fulfilling to help grow the game for the good.

Buy yourself or someone a subscription or an ad in Rack 'Em or Billiards Digest or Professor Q Ball or Pool and Billiard Magazine or Inside English.

Guys it's not rocket science to do a good turn.
It's in fact just a part of being a good human even when the other human doesn't know and doesn't deserve it.

You hear stories of people doing people a nice turn, like buying a lunch for someone behind him in line
or a cue maker giving someone a cue to sell so they have some money in their pocket

Just being thoughtful.

Look there's always going to opportunists and unappreciative people.

Be better than our stigma, and in time, we will no longer carry it!
