Nice cue, have the same HP shaft with an ultra skin hard.

Oh - and just an FYI ... the Joss HP shaft will stand toe to toe with any LD shaft.

Very tasteful, Ched....fancy but not garish.

pt....'68 Joss owner....good as the day it was made

You did really good Ched. This was a good deal for you! It's a pretty, signed custom with sharp points and a classic Joss look.

Very beautiful cue. Love the sharp points, and the inlays. Very nice design, I think.

The only thing that I would have done different, if it were my design, is I would have went with a curly maple (not stained curly maple), or BEM (because I really love Birds Eye Maple).

The butt below the wrap really matches the forearm though, so the cue looks perfect the way it is.

Very nice.

That's nice to say but I'd like to see the deflection test be put up against my revo.. I'll bet it doesn't come close. The amount of $ dan janes spent to find a ld shaft to what predator or ob spends is probobly pennies and performance will show that.

Classy looking cue. Let us know your thoughts after you've put a couple miles on it.

Congratulations!

Very beautiful cue buddy. Is that forearm stained curly maple? Glad you love it, that's all that really matters.

Like the stain/grain, points, veneers, and the Hoppe ring. Sweet.

Enjoy the cue Sir.

Very nice! Dan made me a cue long before Joss Cues LTD came into being and I sold it when I got my Scruggs. It's one of a very few cues I wish I'd never sold.

Interesting you say that, Dan Janes worked with Predator in 97 for LD shafts, then Dan worked with OB shafts some time later, and if I'm not mistaken Dan was messing with LD shafts before 97.

Congratulations. Looks beautiful. Enjoy it. Clearly Dan is a guy with old fashioned values who under promises and over delivers. There is a reason he has been in business for so long. Refreshing. Mine should be here in about four months. Can't wait.

I am not a big fan of the stain either.

AFAIK, Dan does not like birdseye and hasn't used it in a long time. He said he felt was overdone before.

When a person posts a picture of a cue they've been waiting for, and designed, the only words you should say are "nice cue...looks great....enjoy it". You don't tell them what you would change about it. You jump all over people who are critical of you, yet you have no problem stealing someone's thunder.

Life lesson: when someone is proud of a possession of theirs, or an accomplishment...let them have it.
