Just got this info from the official matchroom forum (thanks C2).

1. Go to http://www.download.com/TVU-Player/3000-2194_4-10584888.html
and download TVU player 2.2.

2. Choose ESPN Asia and you are in.

Note: There are no current matches being broadcasted now. Wait for the next coverage (this evening?). I am not sure what time it will start. However, if you click on the other channels and are able to view the broadcast, then that means you are successful.

WPC Broadcast schedule - ESPN Star

Here is the broadcast schedule:

http://www.espnstar.com/tvtimes/tvtimes_searchresults.jsp?page=1

The times are in Philippine time. Games are shown LIVE (total of 7 hours for both sessions) from 12 noon up to 7 pm over there. That means it is from 11 pm to 6 am eastern time here in the east coast.

Basing it on this schedule, we can still watch via internet the replay of DAY 1, sessions 1 and 2 from 7 PM TONIGHT (est) up to 11 pm. Then we can watch the LIVE broadcast for Day 2 starting at 11 pm.

Hope everything works.

Who has installed the application already? Are you all ready for tonight?

You are very much welcome. I got this from a poster (C2) from the matchroom forum. Have you installed the program successfully? Are you now able to view the channels?

I am watching ESPN Asia live now and I am seeing a show about boxing. The picture and sound are outstanding. I hope it is the same way when the replay of DAY 1 starts at 7 pm EST tonight up to the live coverage.

Oh boy, that is 11 hours (4 hours Day 1 replay, 7 hours LIVE Day 2) of billiards!! Good thing tomorrow is Sunday.

Actually you do NOT need to download a player. You can access it by simply clicking on the link here:

http://www.channelbreak.com/player.php?channel=39

Live coverage tomorrow from 5.00am to 11.30am EST

Replays are each evening at 7pm EST

Shane,

Are you sure about the live EST schedule? If you look at this schedule below, the LIVE broadcast will start at 12 noon Philippine time to 7 pm (straight 7 hours). That is 11 pm to 6 am US EST. Actually based on this schedule, we can watch a replay of Day 1 but only for 4 hours (from 7 pm EST to 11 pm) followed by the LIVE broadcast of DAY 2 from 11 pm onwards.

select country - Philippines

select channel - ESPN Philippines

select type of sports - billiards

select date - Nov 4 to 12

Also, I prefer the TVU player broadcast. The picture is much clearer and smoother. Are there 2 channels broadcasting this event? In the TVU player, we have Channels 10005 (ESPN Asia) and 10006 (Star Sports). I know that it is going to be shown at ESPN Asia because I have seen their commercials already about the WPC.

Shane.....for some reason I can't seem to view anything? THe screen remains at "ready" and it's just a black screen....

Raemondo,

It might be because it is currently 3:35 am there right now. However, if you install the TVU viewer, you will at least see their logo. You will also see ESPN Asia so you have a couple more options.

Terrific Software

This is a must have!!! All kinds of TV channels. Watch TV on your PC anytime you want. I have watched sports, animal planet, hollywood movies (Eric Roberts movie on now), foreign channels.

Large View covers the whole screen.

Good controls.

Get it ... It is NICE.

TVU Player

Yeah, I prefer the TVU player because you can make the screen bigger. I hope we have the same picture quality later on.

I am not sure what channel it will be shown though, ESPN Asia or Star Sports. I am going to check at 7 pm tonight EST if we can start viewing the replay of the DAY 1 action.

HI F210,

I tried your method and downloaded the TVU player, however when the program opens it says that it cannot connect to the network....and I can't seem to view anything. How do you use the player?

makes the connection AFTER selecting a channel on the left (left click).

Yes snapshot9, I figured out that much.....what I mean is that when I clicked on the channels, nothing appears on the player. There is a constant error message, "player cannot be initialized, please restart", and I have restarted many times but still to no avail.

I never had any problems downloading the TVU player, raemondo. Did you double click on TVU player icon after installing it? This should open another window (TVU player) and you would immediately see Channels 1005 (ESPN Asia) and 10006 (Star Sports) on the left side. Maybe you could try installing it again?

Maybe snapshot and juniorchamp will be able to help you.

Does this player require a special video card or something of that sort? I read the discription and it seems to be a P2P so I don't think so right. What I did was just to download it and then I opened the program. It takes quite a while to load, and when it does, it simply says failed to initialize.

help!!?!

Do you have cable, DSL or dial-up? I think you need a fast internet connection for this to work at all. Have you tried re-installing it?

I have cable modem connection too. Getting ready for 11 hours straight of being in front of my pc (if I can last that long) assuming the schedule is correct (7 pm EST for the 4 hour replay of Day 1 and LIVE 7 hour broadcast starting at 11 pm).

I am curious to see how Jeff dela Pena plays. I have been reading a lot about him lately and want to see if he is the real deal. He beat Appleton giving him the wild 8 and then beat Morris too in money games. Would also like to see the must win match for Reyes against Babica.
