Howdy all. The turquoise color got washed out a little in the pics, and the figure in the purpleheart is a little nicer than the camera can show as well. I went down to a .005" endmill for the engravings, though the bold lines in the JP engravings might not suggest that. Fun cue.

"The Ghoul"
The customer had a (splendid) vision for this cue that included turquoise and snakeskin juma. I knew with the ebony forearm, I had to throw in some ebony designs as well. I decided to border all of the turquoise with the ebony, and alternate the diamonds and ovals between the 3 materials so no one color dominated. The colors alternate both going around the cue and between the two inlay locations.
At some point during the inlay discussions Neil jokingly said he was good with the design as long as the cue was a monster. After a laugh about all monster cues require monster price tags, I suggested maybe it would qualify as a ghoul. That instantly inspired the engravings to complete the theme of the cue.
