We will miss you, Jerry!

Thank You

Thank you Jerry for giving Pool and all of us here in AZB nation so much of your wealth of knowledge. To say you will be missed is a understatement . It sounds like you have prepared your life well and now deserve to reap the benefits of all your efforts.
Please stop in here every once in awhile to say hello , God bless and farewell.

Thanks for the good wishes, they are very much appreciated. I am not going far. I will never be able to get too far away from pool, it is a game I have loved since I was very small and playing caroms with round wooden sliders on a two-foot square board.

I intend to attend Turning Stone and the US Open as well as the Mosconi Cup and the BCA Trade Show this year so I will be able to stay in touch with my friends in pool. The annual pilgrimage to Norfolk is a tradition I cannot see myself avoiding anytime soon.

But I am very sad to report that I am lousy at frisbee golf. The pros throw those things 600-800 feet and I am struggling to get a 200-foot 'drive'. And my accuracy is worse than my length. But it certainly is a fun game.

Y'all take care.

Congrats Jerry, sound like you have quite the setup going for your retirement! And yeah...disc golf....shockingly difficult little game but a lot of fun too. I have one good throw for every five bad ones I think.

Glad to hear you'll still be around some!

Enjoy the retirement. I retired in 2004 and not once have I regretted it.

Best wishes.....

Check out the utube videos.... lots of tutorials on disc golf... some are really helpful, if not inspiring....

Always glad to see someone retire on their terms.
I know many who did not make it to retirement.
Enjoy yourself!
May you have many happy healthy years!!

wishing you the very best, for sure.

pool will certainly be the poorer for your loss; in addition to being articulate and knowledgeable, you had the only classic sportscaster voice in pool, which really brought something special to the matches.
