Like watching Ten-pin

That's a little harsh ...

don't you think,

but I am sure Hundal will think long and hard about the match 9 ball he missed, and sent him home.

The British players all seem to collapse at the sign of pressure.

Great to watch

Well obviously that's a strange thing to say given how well Steve Davis coped with Orcollo for example. Who else would have been able to take 7 racks off of Dennis (when he himself needed a win) on demand? Not too many other players that's for sure. If that's not coping with pressure then what is! Imran Majid also coped pretty well despite his ear infection. Kevin Uzzell too- he won a crucial close match today to get through. Really all you mean is that Darren Appleton and Raj Hundal faltered isn't it!! What about Mike Davis' miss yesterday to let Manalo steal that crucial match or Efren's two awful missed 9 balls in his 1st and last group matches? All nationalities are can feel pressure!!
Also why the bowling analogy? Paul Moor bowled a 300 game in the first game of the Weber cup this year for example. We certainly don't have particular pressure worries there! I suppose you just meant that, in your opinion, the British pool players were dropping like ten pins today?

Hi guys, fancy a laugh.Watch the Brits today,it really is funny

What on earth are you on about now? Are you just some sort of attention-seeking troll poster or something? Pat Holtz has already won and who knows how many of the other Brits'll go through. They certainly aren't likely to get thrashed as badly as Corey and Earl for example (not that I'm picking on them as I wanted both to go through).

Don't know why I'm bothering wasting my time answering you, though, as you clearly haven't got a clue anyway.

Chris.

I know. I wonder why we can't be more like the US players and just decide to go home early.

Nice response! Good to see some fellow Brits doing well.

More Brits than Yanks made the Last 64 this year.. Sorry mate, but that's a fact!

Hi BigDave and Boronut,
Glad you both found this thread as it had annoyed me so much I was thinking of posting a link to it on Pro9 anyway. Don't know what the original poster is trying to achieve but his opinions certainly aren't borne out by the facts are they!

Thanks,
Chris.

More Brits out.Great going lads.Have you seen whos left for them.lol

How many Americans are left? Look how many great Filipino players didn't make it out of the group stages, in a tournament like this there are going to be great players from every country going out left right and center.

What is your problem? You haven't even attempted to respond to the arguments put forward by everyone else here so stop posting your ridiculous BS if you can't even produce any evidence to support your point.

Chris.
