You recently posted that you eat $20.00 in junk food daily. You're willing to give up 10 days of junk food for a piece of wood to play a game with?
 
... and FWIW? My Schmelkes are probably the smoothest of all my shafts outside the Revo.
 
My vote goes to Schmelke as well.
Not many other places you can design a decent quality
cue for $200 these days.
If you ask for a veneered cue from a private custom maker, chances are it would be abused beyond use,
or arrive in several pieces.
I just sold an awesome merry widow for a steal to someone on here 3 weeks ago.
I asked the guy to leave me iTrader rep since I hooked
him up so nice.
He said the cue was beautiful, but I still didn't
get any iTrader feedback. Lol.
Start a thread asking why some people refuse to
leave iTrader rep even for extremely positive deals.

He just AIN"T gonna order a Schmelke. I myself, recommended Schmelke on more than 10 occasions. More than a few others has also done it several times. It just ain't gonna happen with Justin!

Yeah, I would much rather have a nice vintage Helmstetter. Maybe from the 86 series. Something nice, with points and veneers. Something really sharp looking. Highly figured BEM forearm is a very big plus. I never liked Schmelke cues as a kid. All the ones I ever seen back then (in the 90's) looked like junk, I thought. I have since learned that Schmelke have made a lot of very nice blanks for cue makers over the years, and I have even had a few customs that were made from their blanks, that were really nice. Nothing that I really fell in love with though. I want something really sharp, and nice looking. I just need more money I guess.
 
Order a damn schmelke it'll eat every silly helmstetters lunch every day of the week and twice on Sunday while robbing the charity basket.
