Not sure of the date. Made in 1982 i believe

All original. 58inches 19oz. Ebony and ivory. Ivory joint. Butt plate is not ivory. Leather wrap. Shafts are 13mm and 12.5mm

Condition issues. There is a ding in the finish on the butt section. Not big and not to bad.

Some of the ivory diamond bursts in the butt have a crack. I dont remember how many for sure, but I think 3.

I can take more and better pictures for those interested.

I was told no sale! :(

After accepting my offer the seller now a day later says no deal!!! I had told him I would nextday his money next week because of the holidays.
Good luck with your cue at the Derby. All the dealers from AZ will recognise that thing. Funny I was the only person interested here. I wounder if they knew you would not do what you say you would as I have just learned from experience first hand. I no longer have any interest in your cue but thanks for offering to sell it to me for $300.00 more than you said it was already sold to me for.

Nick I am very sorry.

As I said to you I had listed the cue on Ebay. Even sent you proof of the listing etc and proof that I with drew it. It was listed for less than 2hrs

Someone wants to buy it for $1800. I am not selling the cue just to sell it. I need money and $300 is not pocket change.

I will stay away from all your stuff and yes I was thinking of buying all of it both cues and the case.. The way you deal is not for me though I prefer people that are good to there word.

Dayyamm, Ring. Nick is one of the good guys! I also had an interest in this cue, and was actually disappointed to see Nick bought it before I could decide. Very distracted with the Holidays.

What if someone new pops up in the 11th hour (again) and offers $1900? (Please don't answer that - it's rhetorical)

"If no one offers more by Jan 1st, it's sold to Nick" woulda been the way to go. Nick may not have gone for it, but at least all concerned would have known it was a tentative deal.

But you wrote "SOLD". Not much room for ambiguity there.

But dude - you have killed your action here!

Well...I at least hope you can use that $300 to help you out as much as you can. I'm sure if you had to break a deal with someone for more money offered elsewhere, you must be in some sort of bind, so good luck!

Boo and Hiss!

I once saw Chris (Tate) pull a Szamboti off Ebay for a steal of a price and the seller had offers for double that amount just after he had agreed to sell it to Chris. Long story short, The seller was a MAN OF HIS WORD! Delivered the cue to Tate knowing he had just blown about 3 grand!

IMO :Ask yourself this: Is the 300 bucks worth your rep. here young man? Sounds like you just blew it.
 
Yes, right now $300 bucks is worth it. It almost completely fills my propane tank to heat the house and family for a month + as an example.

I did offer the cue to him for less than 1800 but more than our original agreement but he isnt interested.

I am sorry Nick is getting screwed out of a great deal but I cant afford to give him a great deal otherwise I wouldnt be selling my 2 Scruggs.

Well,.......... Ring your wrong! The 300 more you think you've made , just cost you you reputation ! when you say deal or no deal your "word" is the binding factor. Now your word is poop !!! Not much else to say other than I'll have no interest in anything you may have in the future. Hope the 300 was worth it . Bill
 
My word doesnt feed my family, pay the bills or heat the house.

If $300 is such a trifiling matter I dont see anybody stepping up to the plate to help Nick out...

Beat me up all you want, I need the money.

My company folded on Friday (MLN USA). We knew prior to that they where in trouble and thats why I started the process of selling my cues.

Rumor is I am not even going to be paid for the last 2 weeks of work or any commisions earned for the month of December.

So now, you all tell me how important $300 is?
