I cant fix the title. Its a 1982 or there abouts

This is a re list in attempt to be clearer

A older Tim Scruggs cue. Made around 1982 per Tim. It was refinished in 1996 by Tim. I have the receipt and original brochure showing the cue and options available.

The wood is a Rosewood (not sure which kind). Rosewood butt and points in a nice curly maple forearm.

There are 4 veneers. Veneer colors are white, red, lightish blue and black

The butt has 4 nicely figured maple windows with 4 mother of pear cut diamonds

I also have the original Kelli Case that came with it.

The cue is 58 inches long and weight 19oz. Both shafts are a hair under 13mm.

Only issue with the cue is on 1 shaft, the finish is flaked off a little creating a little ridge that can be felt.

Other than that, its just been played with. Wrap could be cleaned up some.

I would call the hit stiff.

I am asking for $1400 with out the Kelli Case and $1700 with the Kelli Case.

The Kelli case maybe sold independently

See picture here. Its number 7 (The ebony and ivory cue has been sold to Nick S)

I might call anout the case!
Nick :)

I don't believe Tim was making cues under his own name in 1972. I think he started his own cue shop in 1977 or 1978. That's how I understand it. Correct me if I'm wrong. Good luck with your sale. Tim Scruggs has always made a tip top quality cue. Bought my first one in about 1978.

You guys are correct.

I couldnt not remember when Tim said the cue was built. I talked to him about 7yrs ago regarding the cue and he must have said 1982 as he got a dedicated mill to cut points in 1983 (hence the short points)

My error and will correct

Based in Nicks post, maybe he got the mill in 1984?

So either way, before the time he had the mill

I will take $1700 now and cancel the auction from anybody on here. I dont know if 34 watchers and 9email questions is a good sign or not but I have never sold anything on ebay and not quite sure I trust it.
