Snookers Pool Lounge in Providence RI has successfully completed their first monthly event of 2007. This race to 7, double elimination event is now being held on the 2nd Sunday of Every month and has a handicapped entry fee of $30, $40, $50 & $60 with,
No Membership fees, No Green fees and No Director fees, 100% payback!
Their first event drew 34 players from all over NE which was pretty good considering there were at least 3 other events being held in the area.
The northern road team of Ivo & Mike incorporated took first and second respectively and if that’s not enough northern play we had Dave Hall come out of semi retirement to place 3rd. Ivo & Dave stayed undefeated to the hot seat and Mike took the long road after losing his second match of the day to Chuck Altamare of CT.
1st $500 Ivo Petrov
2nd $350 Mike Dechaine
3rd $245 Dave Hall
4th $175 Chuck Altomare
5th & 6th $125 Bill Lanna & Tom McGonagle
7th & 8th $75 Chris Leal & Joe Tucker
Snookers next event is the 18th annual Ocean State Championship on Jan 27th & 28th with $5,000 added! The next monthly event is Sunday Feb 11th.
