Here is my Tim Scruggs custom cue from the 80's
The butt has 4 ebony points with 4 veneers (black, red, yellow, and red). Each point has beautiful mother of pearl diamond inlays. There are no dings or flaws in the butt and this cue has the older TS logo contained on what I believe is a Delrin butt cap. The butt sleeve contains 4 pink ivory ovals with supernice mother of pearl diamond inlays in each oval. There are also mother of pearl dots in between each oval. The joint is stainless steel and there is also a beautiful new black leather wrap.
There are two shafts with aegis ferrules that hit very solid. They are both right around 13mm and the overall weight of this cue feels like 19.25 - 19.50 oz to me. The shafts roll straight together and apart. They show the normal playing wear for a cue of this age and there is nothing wrong with them.
I have personally played with this cue a few times. If you know the history of Tim Scruggs Custom Cues you know what kind of quality you can expect in the hit and appearance of his work. This is a supernice collectors piece or a great playing cue.
I am looking to unload this cue for $2000, if I can't get that I will gladly hang onto this cue... make me some offers, I will only make trades for TS cues. Only reason I choose to sell this is because I have 5 others I play with regularly.
Cheers,
Jim
