For some reason, I am crazy about sneaky petes right now... So the Nitti and Searing almost made me pass out!

Nice cues!

I hear ya! While the Nitti is just a SHADE lighter than the Searing, they make a pretty nice matched set in my new dark brown leather Instroke 2x4...

And I'm really feelin' the sneakies lately. It's just tough for me to play with a wrapless at times. Ah, well...I'm getting over that...slowly, but surely...

They're most definitely great cues, though! :)
Even the Sledgehammer plays GREAT in my opinion...lol

...and thank you very much for the kind compliment, sir. ;)

Your still a young man and would like to give you some advise:

It's not how good you shoot or how good your game is........ it's how Good you look when you're in the pool hall and when you are shooting that counts. anyone one can learn to play good pool, big deal, looking good is what it's all about.

You strut into the pool hall dressed real fine with a hot looking babe on your arm and she's carrying your custom leather satchel, you have her whip out your super fancy rod and give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
You have her get a rack of balls and rack em on the table(it's important she's wearing a low cut top and short skirt) and bend over the table. You walk over to her and give her a big... long....kiss and than you say to her out loud, " You really make big daddy feel real good", as she is walking to her seat to watch and adore you and then you only shoot one ball in a pocket, then you pose next to the table and just look good. I could go on but I think you catch my drift. That's what it's all about.

I thought I would share just a little bit of the real essence of being a pool player......I mean it's all about me!

This may be the coolest post I've ever read! Kind of a Baltimore Bullet-esque type fantasy. Rep for you.

Gotta keep them guessing until they bet something....:D

Are you sure?

Are you sure that Searing is bocote? It looks awfully dark to be bocote, and sure doesnt have the same wood grain, that i associate with it. If it is it is definitely the best looking piece of bocote I have ever seen.

Same here! It is definitely a shade or two darker than most of the bocote I've seen and owned, but it definitely has the figure (it may not be in the area shown in the pics?). I would have thought it was just some brown cocobolo or something otherwise...

Guess I'll ask Dennis via email. I'll post on here with a definitive answer once I hear back...

sounds good...

I think you know this, but I wasn't trying to doubt you at all. All of your cues are very nice, btw as well.

What are you studying at Emory?
