Are deer horn = buck horn? Do they look the same or perhaps they are the same thing of a different name. What color are they?

Thank you

Best regards

Same thing. Buckhorn just sounds more impressive. I prefer buckhorn to anything else though!!

Has anyone ever use buck horn for joint caps? I know Zyler does his cues with sleeved buckhorn joint. How about a full buckhorn joint? Does it hits as well as an Ivory joint?

I like Buckhorn too!

Best regards
Chris

Buckhorn plays very much like Ivory according to Mike Johnson of Jensen cues. I've attached a pic of my playing Jensen right now with a Buckhorn Joint.

Plays really sweet and legal to ship!

some come out white and some have diff. colers in them.depends on where u get it from .if u can keep alot of outside of the horn it stays white.if u want coler just turn it down close to the inside .either why it shines up with a very high gloss.if some1 can tell me how to put pics. in here i can post some here also

Plus you'll never get hooked. If a ball gets in your way, just honk your deer horn. :D

I had an ELK horn ferrule on my preator BK and god dang! That was the hardest damn thing ever. I got a tipper on one night and the cue tip came off while I was practicing breaks, I had hit like 12 solid breaks with no tip at all before I reached for the chalk after a few miscues and the thing looks fine with only a few dings in the end.

I had some on a cue one time, they weren't the prettiest things, but loved the hit.
