PM your email address for detailed pics of any of these. Following prices are shipped, insured, Paypal. The Lambros and Rauenzahn are break-even prices - I'm not trying to make money on these. The Hoppe Pro took a lot of work to restore but the price is still very fair and firm - will send to ebay if it doesn't sell here.

Lambros Titlist - $1,600 - ultra-joint, 2 shafts with ivory ferrules, hits fantastic, perfect workmanship. I bought this cue in person after hitting with it, but selling because of a major cue purchase a day later.
Radial pin, phenolic joint, shaft mm at ferrule 13 on both, triangle tips, 18.7 weight. I do not have specs on shaft weight.

Rauenzahn Titlist - $970 - ivory dots in points and butt, dark reddish-brown wood, 3 shafts - two new with ivory and buckhorn, one made from original Titlist 1-piece with buckhorn. Joint is solid ivory with radial pin, shaft mm at ferrule is 13 and 12.9 on the new ones with Triangle tips, and 12.46 on the Titlist. Cue is full-splice - chunk of maple added at bottom of wrap - and hits very stiff. Weight is 19.4 oz. According to first owner (I'm 2nd), cue was made December 6 and was test-hit only. It is in fantastic shape, but small scuff on bottom of bumperless butt, and shafts are clean and big but could use a recondition to smooth them up. I do not have specs on shaft weight.

Purpleheart Titlist Hoppe Pro 2-piece - $650 - refinished and looks really, really nice. Nice dark purpleheart with very bright veneers and good points. 'Willie Hoppe' signature is nice. I think the cue, like many Hoppe Pros, is too thin for conversion, but it is a beautiful collector cue.

My apologies - I realize everyone would like more pics, but my server space is tight right now, and the upload limits on size for this forum make that alternative a waste of time.

Hay Scott!

Sweet stuff. Why not post the pics to photobucket then copy and paiste the Img link! I bet the cues will look even better in high resolution!
Nick :)

I'm getting a lot of lower offers on the Lambros, and I hate to be weird and go against the grain with the way I sell, but I'll repeat: these are my BREAK-EVEN prices. I buy smart, and I pass on my savings when I re-sell - I am NOT a dealer. If you want either of these cues for the price listed, please contact me. If not, then that is fine too, but my prices are firm and fair. Thanks, Scott

Ditto!!

Yeah, I was discussing selling how to sell these cues with a friend last night. I offer cues here, generally for exactly what I paid. That works great if you have a knowledgeable buyer here on AZ (aware of market value) who is interested in your cue. If not, you get lowballed to death by people who think it's nice, but who assume you are about 20% above what you intend to get. I'll keep doing it this way - I'm not desperate to part with any of these, but with that in mind...

I have raised the price on the Lambros to $1,700. Anything I get over $1,600 goes back to the previous owner.

I was the Rauenzahn’s original owner and I will tell you that Scott is being straight up with the price as I am the one who sold it to him.

I provided Jerry Rauenzahn with the Titlist blank in October of 2006 and the cue was delivered on 12/10/06. I used it maybe 2 or 3 times and sold to Scott to free up some cash for a Searing about a month ago.

Like he stated, he made a good buy and is passing the savings along to some lucky individual.

Good luck with the sale Scott.

Thanks Nelson. One more thing - I have not hit with the new shafts, only played a few racks with the 12.45mm Titlist shaft. I owned 2 other Rauenzahn conversions and wanted to try a full-splice. This cue hits so nice and stiff that I could easily happily play with it with the Titlist shaft. I bought this after talking with Jerry about the cue - he said it was one of the nicest Titlist blanks he had ever held and not to let it get away. But I have a heckuva lot of nice cues, and a few must go.

Pricing on the Rauenzahn!

I think Jerry is around $850.00 for the work in that cue not inclluding the blank and the third shaft. But I am probably low so $1250.00ish on the low side!

Nick, you are low. You can confirm this with Nelson, but I made him a lower offer on this cue, which he accepted, and then I called Jerry to discuss the cue. After speaking with Jerry, I called Nelson back and gave him his original asking price - it only seemed fair. Young Robert (excusesRus) might not understand this, but those of us on this board who are NOT dealers, have no intention of screwing one another - it is a community of folks who enjoy the hobby.

This conversioin of Jerry's is a rare cue - Jerry was given a great Titlist to work with, and he did a simple, elegant design. To create a full-splice with playable shaft as he did, you need a heavier 1-piece, it has to be thick enough and the splices have to extend far enough up and be visually appealing. Those of you looking for 1-piece Titlists to convert know how tough it is to find just the right cue.

After all this talking and thinking, I'm pulling this cue. No longer available.

Also, the Lambros was not sold. I got to thinking about it and what young Robert (excuesesRus) had to say about 'low-end' cues, and I decided that it would be a tremendous insult to Mike Lambros, one of the greatest cue-makers on the planet, to sell this cue for anything under $2,000, regardless of what it has gone for in the past.

I have seen a lot of Titlist conversions and other cues, and this cue is crafted amazingly perfect - and I do mean PERFECT. My apologies to Mr. Lambros for offering this cue up so quickly after I purchased it. Like I said previously, ALL of my cues play great, but I currently hit with a much stiffer cue, and as tempting as it was to hit with this one a bit more (I still use it for 1-pocket), I only play with Tuckers now and that will not change.

The very night I bought this cue, I was offered another cue by a friend that I will be using as my player forever, unless the cue-maker makes me another at some point. Rare once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I jumped on it. I still planned on keeping the Lambros as my 1-pocket cue, but a few days later was offered (if you can believe this) an even rarer Titlist conversion. Strange circumstances, but I'm keeping all of these cues. I'm sure many of you can identify with these situations, especially given how bad the cue market is right now for sellers, which is resulting in an incredible amount of rare cues showing up at affordable prices. So I've been buying, and it's been a thrill.

Yup!

I thought you were giving it away! It is a real keeper! I was thinking about it too much I just had other commitments.
Good move keeping the cues
Nick :)

Morning Scott.

Got a responce from my guy. Looks like it will be about a month before he is ready to start discussions on his collection. He is in the middle of renovating his home. Hopefully it will all work out in the end.

Ya all have fun know.
