the clearcoat is almost completely wore off cue from
the joint above wrap to the butt,
and a little on the shaft collars
shaft is in great shape considering age
ferrule is quite a bit larger than shaft

i'm going to repair the butt
rewrap with walnut & white
put on a saber t ferrule with a moori medium tip

Nice Job Brent, it is pretty common to find the old Meucci Original cues with a short tenon for the installation of the butt cap. I suspect they though the old style Meucci wieght bolts would hold the butt cap in place, pretty craze if you ask me.

But I am certain it will not be a problem now, again great job!!!!

Have a good day!!!!!!

Just got my Meucci back from Brent at BHQ

What can i say, the pictures speak a 1,000 words. He did such an outstanding job of refinishing and repairing my Meucci that i have ordered 2 matching custom for myself and am thinking on one for the wife. I already have one of his jump cues that also goes beyond anything you've ever seen and will jump a mile. From day one Brent kept me informed about everything, i knew exactly what was happening at all times, this is something you dont hear much about, communication between Cue Artist and the customer. I would highly recommend BHQ to anyone who is looking for a great cue from a rising talent in the industry.
Thank you soo much Brent...your friend Floyd

Brent is too humble....it's not an easy task spraying well over the wrap. Usually with beginning cue makers you would feel some finish pits in the wrap area. But Brent is on the right track and doing very good work from what I see.
