Good luck with your event Craig. They don't make them like Grady Mathews anymore. Have fun.

Gene

PS Can't believe you still have seats. Don't miss this exhibition folks if your within 100 miles of Full Splice Billiards.

Nice to see the pictures, Craig. You've got a nice looking room there! Is it in Seattle? Since this isn't really a tournament, but general interest, you might consider moving this over to the Main forum. I imagine lots of guys would like to read about Grady's visit.

Hello Az Membership, Grady's exhibition was phenomenal. The exhibition match between Grady and Harry Platis was very entertaining, and for the spectators it was also very informative. Harry and Grady played a race to three, and during the session they gave everyone present a break down of their intent and their strategy shot for shot. The match went hill / hill and Grady won the race. Everyone present learned allot about the game of one pocket from these two great players, from their individual perspectives.

Next Grady went through his seminar on the history of pool with the assistance of his wife Randi. This presentation was really great. The entire presentation was accompanied with a slide show of famous players and tournaments with Grady's commentary which was very entertaining.

Last of all Grady spent time with every player present on a personal basis, some were happy with just autographs, however, he played at least one game with anyone who wanted to play. I would recommend Grady's Presentation / seminar to anyone, and especially to other Pool Room owners you will not be dissatisfied. I personally can not wait until next year to have Grady and his Lovely wife Randi come back again!!!!!

Enjoy and have a great night!!!!!

Thanks for the kind words and thanks to all the other posters in this thread. This was a big success, and like I said above I can not wait until next year, I suspect that we will invite some others and make the entire event a little bigger.

Thanks again and have a great day!!!!

Grady

We Had Grady At The Yankee Club In York,pa. 2 Years Ago. If You Did Not Get $25 Worth Of Info, You Were Not Listening. Like Everyone Says If You Get The Chance To See Him Go By All Means. When He Goes Into The History You Know That He Cares Because He Lived It. Yes Great Looking Room.
