RAUENZAHN HOPPE OLD SCHOOL

Here is a traditional old style Hoppe cue Jerry Rauenzahn sent to me and let me play with it for 3 weeks before we talked about what it is worth. I am very impressed with the quality and supurb craftsmanship this cue possesses. All white is ivory. It is a killer hitting cue. It hits LIGHTS OUT!!! The holly and ebony veneers combine to make an old style Hoppe cue solid but simple. This cue has run rack after rack and helped us win the team event for Western BCA's tournament at the Chinook Winds resort in Lincoln City, Oregon March 15-18th this past month. I LOVE THIS CUE.

Jerry Rauenzahn builds SUPURB hitting cues. The old style hoppe design gives it a touch of nestalgia and traditional style but emulates the new designs including a radial pin and ivory joint. The ringwork shows off ivory dashes to insure its destinct quality design. The short spliced points are lined up evenly, much better than any I have ever seen. IT HITS AWESOME!!!

Thank you Jerry Rauenzahn for a quality cue for an extremely reasonable price. Like I said, it helped our team win 1st place. I'd say it has paid for itself already.

Enjoy.

John

I keep telling Jerry!

Stop shootin and make cues! Jerry loves the game and it amazas me that at his age if he got me on a bar table I would not like it.
Here is a picture of a cue I will have next week! It is old stuff.
Am I BLUE ? It reminds me of early Szam blank Bushka.

Who's your buddy?

Nick,

You are my friend. That cue of yours looks FANTASTIC!! I know it will hit LIGHTS OUT!! Jerry's cues always do!!!!

Thank you for turning me on to Jerry's work. Jerry Rauenzahn's cues are one of the BIGGEST surprise additions in my collection. His cues are drop dead solid and well constructed. I think his cues are by far one of the best buys a person can find today. He's been building cues for nearly 35 years. One of these days his cues are going to cost twice ot three times what they are today. Watch and see.

Thanks Nick!!
John

Wow - Some nice looking cues.
I am going to have to test hit one some day so I can figure out if a Rauenzahn hoppe cue should be in my future as well (too many in the works right now).

Thanks for posting the pictures...
Myron
