Up for sale is a used Mezz Z404 cue. I got this cue from a trade about 6 weeks ago. I am selling it to get the Mezz ZZ-sp (sneaky pete no wrap)

Joint: metal sleeve 5/16 x 14 mezz united joint
Forearm: birdseye maple
Points: 4 ebony spearhead points with 4 micarta diamond crosses
Wrap: black w/white spec irish linen
Butt sleeve:ebony with 4 matching micarta diamond crosses from the forearm and 4 smaller diamonds

Shaft: 12.8mm with moori tip(90% meat left)
low deflection WD700 shaft

Weight of cue: 19.2 +/- 0.1 oz

The only problem I found is a scuff right at the butt end that knocked off half of the "Z" from mezz. (barely shown in last pic... hard to capture with glare)

The cue has a solid hit and the taper feels nice. It hits somewhat like a schon but has a unique feel to it where finesse shots just roll in. The shaft screws on tightly... about 75% effort compared to my olney. The wrap is still new without any frays.

I am looking to get $334 paypal-ed. Upon receiving payment I will ship FedEx 2nd day the following day to anywhere in the 48 con. U.S. If out of the U.S., shipping will be recalculated.

Note: the WD700 shaft will fit on a schon and a 5/16 x 14 "314" will fit on the Mezz without any problems

I think fitting the shaft onto a Schon or a normal 5/16x14 314 might spoil the Mezz United Joint.. That's what I read in some other threads.. There were some discussions on it.. But anyways, Bumpz up for a nice Mezz Cue.. I'm using a Mezz myself and I love it~!

Thanks for the info. I know the WD700 fits but i've never played with it on the schon, only the 5/16x14 314 on the mezz. When screwing it in it isnt snug and when it is tigtened there is no vibration of any sort to damage the joint. I'll have to look this up.
