Positive or negative? I am sure the results will be clear.

Tim,
Why would you suggest that Landon requested a video analysis of his stroke? Everyone knows that you and Landon parted ways quite some time ago. And why is it such an old analysis? Didn't he want to know what is presently going on with his game? And if he sent the request to you in a PM, why would you post it on a public forum?
Why does this seem to be a marketing tactic for your school, and not a legitimate reply to a specific request?
Since Stan is an advanced level BCA instructor, I suspect that he is quite capable of analyzing his son's stroke in real time. How long ago was this "request" made?

Let me give you a news flash...stroke mechanics are overrated! Look simply at the dominance of the Filipino pool players in pool over the last 20 years, and some of them have some of the most unorthodox strokes you have ever seen. It is consistancy...period. Doesn't matter how you get from A to B...as long as you can do it with repeated results.

Busta is the only one left with a funny stroke among the Filipinos these days.
Efren has lost the rollercoaster stroke.
If you look at Manalo, Orcullo, Pagulayan and Alcano, they seem to have lost that rollercoaster stroke too.

yea as long as everyone has the perfect mechanic stroke there will be a ton of Efren's out there.

wait.. nevermind.

Steve,

I thought the same thing when I saw this thread yesterday. From what I remember, Tim owns www.landonshuffett.com and Stan and Landon have nothing to do with that site at all. I believe this thread was started to garner hits to that site due to Landon's performance at the recent Viking Tour event. We went through this BS with you at another forum just last year with Timothy White.

For those that missed it then, here is a link to that thread.

Here is a notice that Stan put out in March of 2005 where he distanced himself and his family from you.

Notice from Stan Shuffett from March 2005

Tim, several years ago myself and many other people suggested that you do the right thing and give the kid his name back. You are also going around and giving the false impression that you are somehow responsible for Landon's development as a player. You are not. That credit goes to Stan and also to Landon for his dedication. Landon is a great player and definitely one of our future champions. He deserves your respect, and so does Stan. It is irritating to all instructors and coaches that you are shamelessly continuing on with this nonsense.

Slowly but surly the billiard world might just be catching up to that barrier and accept a standard philosophy as to the science of mechanics in the billiard stroke.

20 years ago + Golf was this way and now look. :) Look clearly at the Senior tour players and the PGA tour players. Night and day difference in mechanics. Todays golf teachers all accept the same scientific principles of the mechanics in the golf swing, and fundamentals for that matter too. Comparing apples to apples, golfers today are far better than that of even 10 years ago. They are merely all cookie cutter robots today. All top professional players have many coaches and instructors constantly evaluating and analyzing. Golf analysis programs all have tutorials that all show the same thing. There are 8 key positions in golf mecahnics in video analysis which every player and teacher now agrees with in structure. The mechanics in the billiard stroke is very elementary compared to that of the golf swing.

If we had TV billiard announcers like that on the PGA, giving all the constant slow motion replay analysis of the billiard players of today with a universal accepted scientific structure, todays common folks would be very confused as to why these players are on TV as professionals. :) Except Allison, of course!

Maybe this is why Snooker is on TV so much in England and the atmosphere is so different. Clearly, most snooker players fit into the correct mold, and why, because potting a small ball into a small rounded pocket with marginal clearance room from much longer distances requires robotic precision. :D

.......some would say it was actually a sorry day for golf and the spectators when it was finally twigged that just about anyone could be robotized.......and many would say it might be just as sorry a day for pool if that happened........every cloud has a silver lining for someone of course eh?;)

Nearly forgot the old favourite sign off.....those who can....do....those who can't....teach:)

LOL. What a sleaze bucket. I didn't have time to reread the whole thing, but from what I remember, this is my favorite part...

Yes, I must say all this is quite interesting. I bet you are all glad I am around for this topic of discussion. I sure have had some great laughs. Good thing I feel awesome all the time. Sex with Cheryl was awesome last night and this morning!

Is that supposed to make people jealous of your "awesome life"? Shameless indeed. If your life was so awesome, you probably wouldn't have to ride the coat tails of a kid who just wants you to piss off.

You know what, Tim... it is extremely sad that the world has people like yourself that would buy the rights to the name of a 12 year old pool prodigy and then hold a ransom for it.

$9700 ???

Grow up. While you're at it, grow a conscience.

What he should do is sue the hell outta Tim for what is called cybersquatting...judge will not be linient either with it being a minor involved...that is just my opinion however.

And I'm giving you some rep points for that idea!

In all my days on the internet, this is the very first time I am putting someone on my ignore list..... Hell, even Fast Larry didn't get on my ignore list. What a special guy Tim is.

Enough said, no sense wasting anymore time with him.

Stan has himself and this forum to back up the reasons why I have landonshuffett.com Whenever something untrue is said, I point out the facts. If there is anything on this site that is not factual you can let me know am I will fix it with the proof to back up the statement. If you don’t have ALL the facts then I would suggest you not voice your opinion, because that is all it is without basis.

Second, I asked Stan way back at his house if he wanted to sign it up and I waited 2 months. He didn’t seem to have any interest. I however saw it as an avenue to point out the facts which I have done clearly and very well. I have never told anyone and especially Stan that they couldn’t acquire it from me nor has anyone contacted me directly about it.

If everyone here is so concerned about thinking Stan and Landon should have this site then, maybe you all could chip in a bit and buy it for him. Actions do speak louder than words. I don’t have a habit of working for free anymore. Current price is $9700 to cover my costs and time right now. Will increase over time.

Hey…Tiger Woods paid a lot more than that for his site.
Unlike you Tim, the people who know Stan and Landon just want them to have what is fair and deserving to them. I have known them both for a long while and would bet that they have more character than you could ever perceive.

Everything is not about money. Some things are about the proper thing to do.

I always heard that you were queer (odd, weird) and you prove it more with every post. How can you say that your time is so valuable that you need to charge $9700 for something in which you say you have so little time invested. It seems that all you did was buy the domain name. And I hear you have plenty of time on your hands now.

Perhaps you can itemize the $9700 that you feel that you have invested in the site. Then maybe we on the site can consider why you should be paid so handsomely. I feel that a more appropriate name might be the "Australian Leech".

And since you brought it up, how much do you charge Cheryl to have sex with you? That should at least pay the bills.

Mike

This guy doesn't deserve this attention. Landon is building character and the creep is exposing his character...he has to live with himself but we don't.......
